Shipping Methods

Hookah Stories General Partnership (O.E.) ensures the safe and timely shipment of its products by using reliable transportation methods.
These shipping terms apply to all orders placed through the online store and form an integral part of the Terms of Use.

1. Shipping via Courier Company
Orders are shipped throughout Greece via cooperating courier companies.
Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer during checkout.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on:

  • the delivery location
  • product availability
  • external factors (weather conditions, transport workload, etc.)

The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by the courier company or by events of force majeure.

2. Shipping via BOX NOW
Orders may be shipped via the BOX NOW service to selected automated pickup points (lockers), where available.
The customer selects the BOX NOW pickup point during checkout. Upon arrival of the parcel at the locker, the customer is notified via SMS and/or email with a unique pickup code. Pickup must be completed within the time period specified by BOX NOW. Otherwise, the parcel may be returned to the Company.
Shipping via BOX NOW applies only to orders that meet specific size and weight limits. In cases where products (e.g. large hookahs or bulky parcels) do not meet these requirements, the Company reserves the right to modify the shipping method after informing the customer.

3. Shipping via Freight Company (Bulky / Heavy Items)
For large, heavy, or bulky products, shipping is carried out via a freight company.
Delivery is usually made at street level or at the nearest accessible point for the vehicle and not to upper floors, unless otherwise agreed.
Shipping time and cost are determined based on the volume, weight, and delivery location.
In certain cases, direct communication between the customer and the freight company may be required to schedule delivery.

4. International Shipping
International orders are shipped via an international courier provider (e.g. DHL).
International shipping applies exclusively to products that do not fall under tobacco product legislation, such as hookahs and hookah accessories.
Tobacco products are not shipped internationally.
Delivery time depends on the destination country, customs procedures, and the import regulations of the destination country.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or other charges are borne exclusively by the recipient.
The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by customs inspections or regulations of the destination country.

5. Shipping Costs & Free Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before order completion.
For orders with a total value exceeding €70, shipping is free, unless:

  • shipping is carried out via a freight company due to volume or weight, or
  • the order is shipped internationally.

In cases of shipment via a freight company, the final shipping cost may be confirmed after order placement, following communication with the customer.

6. Delivery Inspection & Customer Responsibility
The customer is required to inspect the condition of the products upon delivery.
In the event of visible damage, alterations, or missing items, the customer must:

  • record the issue immediately at the time of delivery, and
  • notify the Company as soon as possible

Failure to report an issue in a timely manner may affect the customer’s right to replacement or compensation.
